2026Silver Winner • Mobile Apps & Sites-Family & Kids
A simple music app for kids, inspired by my niece, and all the things she loves. Designed and built by me, as an early foray into agentic engineering and the practice of software as a gift. Made with Claude, Xcode, Suno, Midjourney, and Adobe Illustrator. Jr Jams is available on the Apple App Store.

In the spirit of experimenting with AI to build quickly, Midjourney was the tool of choice for exploring brand directions. For that, I turned to Emily Schaefer, a Midjourney pro. Together we narrowed it down to one direction. Then I refined the brand in Adobe Illustrator, redrawing the logo and illustrations by hand, before adding grain in Photoshop.

I wanted Jr Jams to have an official home on the web. A place that could show up in search results, direct people to the App Store, and capture the same playful energy as the app itself.
Jr Jams is live on the Apple App store for iPhone and iPad. With original songs across a dozen fun genres, it’s a great way for kids to explore music. The app doesn’t need wi-fi, and doesn’t collect or share any user data. Try it out for yourself by downloading it from the App Store.
